With the election of Wes Hodge as chairman of the Orange County Democratic Party, the local party’s online efforts have taken a noticeable step to the left.
A quick perusal of the official Twitter feed for Orange Democrats leaves you with the impression that a young, hard left community organizer is at the reins. There is a hard focus on content denigrating President Donald Trump, but a re-tweet Wednesday of an article besmirching the U.S. military takes things a little too far.
The offensive article is from The Intercept, a liberal online publication created and funded by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar. In a desperate attempt to minimize what was very likely the most powerful moment ever in a presidential address to Congress, the piece dares to belittle the widow of U.S. Navy SEAL Ryan Owens — who was killed in a January commando raid in Yemen — by suggesting Americans should be “exposed to grief from foreign victims of U.S. violence.”
On a side note, is the left THAT out of touch that they would actually target a military widow???
But for Democrats, to include the Orange County Democratic Party, it seems nothing is off the table when it comes to the ongoing campaign to destroy the president of the United States.
Shameful… and even more shameful that local Democrats conveniently look the other way.
